TRC Staff Research and Public Health with Wildlife Trade

TRC Clinical Resident Dr. Irene Bueno-Padilla is working on research related to diseases and infections that come to humans from wildlife. Specifically, she is building a risk-analysis framework that can help national agencies like the CDC identify which aspects of the international wildlife trade pose a threat to American human or animal health.
