TRC Birds Anticipating Spring

Gladdie displays his perch-shredding skills at the top of his hutch

As the amount of daylight increases, many of our education birds become more active. This includes "playing" with the rope on their perches. To decrease the workload of re-roping the birds’ perches every day,  our volunteers construct rope "toys" from short pieces of rope that the birds manipulate, carry around and rip apart.
