Gladdie displays his perch-shredding skills at the top of his hutch |
As the amount of daylight increases, many of our education birds become more active. This includes "playing" with the rope on their perches. To decrease the workload of re-roping the birds’ perches every day, our volunteers construct rope "toys" from short pieces of rope that the birds manipulate, carry around and rip apart.
