The Raptor Center's Positive Impact on Young People
The Raptor Center is very proud to have had a positive impact in the life of a young person featured in this story on the Lifetrack Resources website. This organization is a nonprofit human services organization with a mission to work together to develop the strengths within children, families and adults facing the greatest life challenges so that all families and individuals are strong, healthy and productive members of the community. Near the end of this video, the young man’s family talks about the impact of a visit to The Raptor Center.

Harley's Travels for March
Harley is back in Douglas County, Wisconsin. He left Arkansas for good on March 1 and was back in Douglas County on March 16, covering about 790 miles. You may remember that this is the area in which he was found injured. He is now in the same part of the county he spent time in last spring (see map with 2010-2011 comparison) and also spent time here last fall.

WCCO/CBS Names TRC's Spring Raptor Release - Spring Event for Families
WCCO, our Twin Cities CBS affiliate, has named the Spring Raptor Release in its list of Best Spring Events For Families In Minnesota. This event is Saturday, May 7th, at Hyland Lake Park Reserve in Bloomington. We have crafts for children, live presentations, and you can say hello to our winged education ambassadors. Harley Is On The Move!
Spring is coming and so is Harley. After spending a couple of restful months in Arkansas, Harley decided to start moving north on March 27. He flew about 40 miles north to the Missouri border that day, but he turned around and went back the next day. On March 1 he tried again and as of March 6 he was just west of Columbia, MO having covered a total of 280 miles.
