Dr. Ponder Will Speak on the Galápagos: Fragile Past, Brighter Future

TRC's Executive Director, Dr. Julia Ponder, will speak on the Galápagos: Fragile Past, Brighter Future, for the November edition of the Headliners series.

As you might remember from following our social media, Dr. Ponder is part of an international group of conservationists who plan, implement, and monitor efforts to systematically remove invasive rats from the Galápagos, and in so doing, save the islands’ endangered and at-risk species.

Join her on November 7, at 7:00pm, at the CCE Conference Center, to discuss the far-reaching consequences of ecological restoration and the delicate balance required of researchers who are in a race against time to prevent species’ extinctions.
